The wellbeing services county of East Uusimaa organises healthcare and social welfare as well as rescue services for the approximately 100,000 inhabitants of the region starting from 1 January 2023. The East Uusimaa wellbeing services county comprises seven municipalities: Askola, Lapinjärvi, Loviisa, Myrskylä, Porvoo, Pukkila and Sipoo. The wellbeing services county provides employment for roughly 2,500 professionals and is one of largest employers in the region.
